Today when you visit the Detroit Free Press on Facebook, you'll notice a new look and new content.
The Free Press switched its page at Facebook.com/detroitfreepress to Facebook's new Timeline design. We picked an evening skyline photo as our lead image, and we plan to change that photo regularly to coincide with what's going on in the news and in metro Detroit.
We've filled the Timeline with key dates in our history, including our founding in 1831 and when we won Pulitzer Prizes and Emmy Awards. We also noted important moments in Detroit's history with photos and pictures of front pages.
We'll continue to post new photos and stories on our Timeline, as well as some from our archives and the Detroit Almanac.
And, we've added a tab near the top, just underneath our cover photo, for our Detroit Self Portrait project. If you click on that thumbnail image, you can click to the project.
Be sure to "like" the Detroit Free Press page to get our latest updates and let us know what you think about our new profile page.
You can leave a comment on this story and on our Facebook wall.
