PORT ANGELES, Wash. (AP) — A fugitive from Port Angeles police remains at large Tuesday with no new updates on Facebook.
Deputy Police Chief Brian Smith says Travis Nicolaysen is still on the lam, but Smith expects he'll eventually be caught.
There's an arrest warrant for the 26-year-old felon for failing to check in since January with his Department of Corrections community supervision officer. He's also accused of domestic violence on March 28 with his girlfriend.
After he outran police and eluded a police dog last week he posted "got away" on Facebook and took time over the weekend to change his relationship status to single.
Friends have been posting advice on his Facebook wall. Some are urging him to surrender. Others are offering encouragement and mocking police.
