Three Colorado State football players were suspended indefinitely for their alleged role in beating four fellow students Friday night near an intersection in Fort Collins, CO, according to several reports.
The three players reportedly are Mike Orakpo, the younger brother of Washington Redskins linebacker Brian Orakpo, Nordly Capi and Colton Paulhus.
According to reports, those in an SUV carrying the football players allegedly shouted "homophobic insults" as they drove by the intersection. The students who were beaten allegedly responded with the same insults.
The report said that's when the apparently one-sided fight started. Check the video below that shows one victim with both eyes swollen shut. Click on the links for the Coloradoan and the Denver Post, which uses a story from the Loveland Reporter-Herald, to get all the details.
This is not the way new head coach Jim McElwain wants to start his tenure.
