The school regulations were revealed after CNN reported that a 12-year-old student was forced to give her Facebook password to the school principles, who claimed she was having sex conversations on the internet with another female student. Another student at the school said that after the incident, the management said it's inappropriate for us to have Facebook accounts because we might talk to boys or upload immodest pictures. 'Students might upload immodet photos' (Illustration Photo: Yoav Friedman) A website serving the community of Crown Heights posted a message saying that students in their Junior year who had Facebook accounts were suspended from school and given an ultimatum: Close your accounts, or be expelled for good. Rabbi Benzoin Stock said the Hasidic school has had a ban on the site for several years. But as Facebook grew more popular, all of its 495 students were asked to sign a formal contract not to use Facebook this year. Last week, 33 students were found to still be using Facebook. Stock say they agreed to delete their accounts and pay a $100 fine, which will be returned at the end of the school year.
